All those old X11 fonts

Not sure if this has been discussed here before, but would it be a good idea to store all those old X11 fonts in a repository here too?

Just seems to make sense that people will then be able to view the themes as they were intended with all the puzzle pieces in one place.

The DR16 era is a snapshot of GNU/Linux history. I'm sure that's why this repository exists and those fonts seem to be part of that history.

just a suggestion :)

Where in the www?

I haven't thought about that before. I like the suggestion, that would make good sense as an "archive" for DR16 history. That's essentially what's happening with all the embedded TrueType fonts.

Do you have a suggestion as to where in the www I should collect "all those old X11 fonts" from?

The other rational for the repository is to be able to move forward without regrets. Essentially there is a new era distinguished by "e16" rather than DR16 in which Kim Woelders has breathed in new life by bolting on features such as composite rendering, multi-head awareness, font-aliases, config toggled auto-shading, etc..

I'd like the theme base to keep moving forward as well, but without loosing touch with the past. This is in large part why a version control repository made so much sense.
